Collectable pottery shot glass
This cute shot glass is decorated with mushrooms and other woodland creatures in the Mishima pottery technique. Perhaps you are not someone who likes to drink shots, this little cup can also be used as a toothpick holder or even a succulent planter. This tiny cup measures about 2 1/2 inches wide by about 2 1/4” wide and will hold about 2 ounces of liquid.
The design is drawn into soft clay, bisque fired, the design lines are filled in with black, then at least 2 layers of colored underglaze is then carefully added in-between the lines. If you have ever seen the video on Instagram about “it takes me hours,” it really does!
All items are made by me in my studio in Greensboro, NC. I have 17 years of experience and passion infused into every piece of pottery that leaves my studio.
